In the second major investment round, which includes Next47, the Siemens investment department, the founders raised $ 60 million. The major London investor Atomico and the company Lakestar led by the Swiss investor Klaus Hommels are among the new investors.
Scoutbee is growing rapidly: it was only founded in 2015 and the number of employees is expected to increase from 120 in 2020 to 220 in one year – most of them at the Berlin location. Scoutbee is also expanding its Washington office to make the leap across the Atlantic.
Scoutbee operates an innovative supplier platform based on artificial intelligence. This platform makes the networking of suppliers through Big Data transparent and centralizes the tendering processes.
